Seda Tamoyan
Beader
Seda’s journey began in Aleppo, Syria, where she got her higher education in English and Arabic languages. For years, she dedicated herself to teaching, passing her knowledge on to younger generations. However, destiny had a different path for her.
In 2023, Seda moved to Armenia. Due to various circumstances, she was unable to continue her career in education, leading her to seek a new way to express herself. Since childhood she was passionate about handicrafts, the techniques of which she had originally learned from her mother.
Today, Seda and her daughter create beaded bags. She puts her heart and creative spirit into every piece. Each bag is the result of a meticulous process, from the initial design to the placement of the very last bead.
By participating in several exhibitions, Seda recalls the enthusiastic reactions of people, the warmth and appreciation which have given her the renewed hope to continue creating, involving her craft, and building ambitious plans to develop her business in her homeland.
